Rita Whole Fish

Rita is a species of bagrid catfish that is found across southern Asia. It has been recorded in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan. It is one of the giants of its genus, growing a length of 150 cm. It is commercially fished for human consumption.

Fish is high in many important nutrients, including high-quality protein, iodine, and various vitamins and minerals. Fatty varieties also pack omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D.

Eating at least one serving of fish per week has been linked to a reduced risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Fish intake is linked to reduced mental decline in older adults. People who eat fish regularly also have more gray matter in the brain centers that control memory and emotion.

Storage
Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after you receive your next day delivery. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use it shortly after. Keep refrigerated.
